HEESEN REVEALS AMBITIOUS NEW 62-METRE SUPERYACHT PROJECT AT MONACO YACHT SHOW – MONTE-CARLO

At the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show, Heesen Yachts unveiled their latest and most ambitious project, the 62-meter Steel FDHF superyacht, codenamed Project Monte-Carlo. This four-deck superyacht, designed by Harrison Eidsgaard, is tailored for modern owners seeking more time aboard their vessels. The yacht will be one of the largest ever built at Heesen's Oss shipyard.

Key features include:

  • An owner-exclusive deck with a master suite, office, private sundeck, jacuzzi, and fold-down balcony, providing privacy and flexibility in layout.
  • A strong connection to the sea with a 23-square-meter glass-sided pool and fold-down wings on the aft deck, creating a seamless link between the yacht and the water.
  • Spacious guest accommodations on the main deck forward, with four large staterooms and a full-beam VIP suite.
  • A holistic wellness center on the lower deck, featuring a gym, sauna, hammam, and massage room, along with an expansive beach club for water toys and tenders.

Heesen is also committed to sustainability, equipping Project Monte-Carlo with space for a large battery bank, a methanol-ready tank layout for future hydrogen conversion, and serial hybrid propulsion technology. This yacht’s Fast Displacement Hull Form ensures optimized cruising at 12 knots, with a top speed of 16 knots.

CEO Niels Vaessen noted that the design was influenced by client feedback and market trends, emphasizing space and extended living aboard. Heesen’s BlueNautech strategy underscores the company’s dedication to environmentally responsible yachting, aligning with the rising demand for greener solutions from yacht owners.

With its advanced design, luxurious features, and commitment to sustainability, Project Monte-Carlo is expected to set a new benchmark in superyacht innovation and luxury when completed.
